Do you Feel..?

you would like to have an empowering birth experience- maybe unmedicated, but you are…

…overwhelmed by the thoughts about birth and postpartum?

…afraid of birth?

…not really feeling connected to your body?

…overthinking everything?

Then you might be just in the right place!

I created this program because...

…I wish I had something like this when I was pregnant! I really wanted to have an unmedicated birth, to have an empowering experience, but I had no idea where to start and what to look for.

Hi, I am Daniela!

I am a Prenatal Yoga Teacher, Childbirth Educator, and a Mom of three.

I have been teaching Yoga and working with pregnant women for over three years now, but when I was pregnant for the first time, I was not yet a birth professional nor did I have any idea how to approach birth.

So I tried to look for ways to prepare for birth and found Yoga. I cannot explain how, but I felt immediately that it was right for me and just what I had been looking for. The tools and mindset, the connection through breath and the poses that made me feel strong and powerful- I was able to apply all of them and had a completely unmedicated birth.

Since then I have been feeling the urge to help other pregnant women to have an empowering birth experience. To believe that the female body and mind are incredibly strong and that we can and should trust our intuition.

A few years, and two more babies later I decided to make my passion a profession and since 2021 I have been helping women to healthier pregnancies and active and empowering births.

I enjoy teaching in person and would never want to stop it, but I also want to reach and help more women, which is why I designed the “Whispering Womb Wisdom”.

This program is special because you will start understanding the beauty and logic of physiological birth.

Once you cut the clutter about everything you ever heard on birth and focus on the essentials that I teach, it will be so much easier for you to believe in yourself and in your body’s abilities!

The Whispering Womb Wisdom is much more than just an online yoga course…

Prenatal Yoga may Shorten labor

Several studies proved that women who practiced yoga during pregnancy had a shorter labor and an overall more positive birth experience! Practicing yoga asana during pregnancy gives your baby the opportunity to be in the most favorable position for birth which makes labor easier and shorter for you! Mentally, yoga seems to help and enhance the ability to cope and manage labor better and with greater ease.

Better Mind-Body Connection

Listening to your intuition is the key to a beautiful and empowering birth experience! Unfortunately following your inner guidance is made very difficult in today`s life, but through yoga- poses, breathing and mindful relaxation and visualization you will foster a deep connection to your own body and baby, helping you to better understand your feelings and needs, and trust your body`s abilities through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Know More-Fear Less

Knowledge will be your secret weapon in birth. The more you know the less you will fear and the better you will know how to make informed decisions. It does not matter where you give birth, the tools and information you will gain in this course will help you to an empowering birth experience.

What is an active birth?

Active birth is an approach to childbirth that encourages movement and positions that aid in labor progression and pain management. It involves techniques such as walking, and using a birthing ball, yoga poses, or water immersion to facilitate the birthing process, promoting a more natural and empowered experience.

Why is it important to have an active birth?

Lying down during labor rather than being active has many disadvantages. The first one is that lying down prevents your baby`s head from pressing down on your pelvic floor and further enhancing contractions. Gravity cannot do its job in helping your baby descend and navigate through the birth canal when you are not upright. The second is that there is no way of coping with contraction pain while lying down, which will lead you more quickly to medical pain management, ultimately leading to cascades of unnecessary interventions.

Does my birth experience have an impact on me or my baby later on?

Birth can be a very empowering experience. But as much as it can be empowering and positive, it could be traumatizing in certain cases.

Depending on your surroundings, knowledge, and ability to manage sensations and make informed decisions, you could either end up owning your birth or finding yourself being led into unwanted and unexpected interventions.

Experiencing a very long birth, and complications can be traumatizing and may harm your ability to bond with your baby, and breastfeed. It may also influence your recovery and raise the chances of experiencing postpartum depression.

Conversely, a positive and empowering birth makes it easier and more likely to enjoy the undisturbed skin-to-skin time right after birth, leading to better breastfeeding success and a greater ability to master the postpartum period and all that comes with it.

Testimonials

Bedriye Siringuel

Working with Daniela was a wonderful decision. It was my third pregnancy but 6 years after my last birth, so I was really happy refreshing my memory with all the information and tools this course offers. The yoga during the last trimester helped me with my back and sciatic pain

I especially loved that one yoga class that breaks down how and which yoga poses and breath combination you can use during the different stages of birth. This really helped me to keep a clear mind and to know how to move through birth. I had a great midwife helping me have my birth as uninterupted, calm and quiet as I wished and it was wonderful.

My second pregnancy was with twins. Quite from the second trimester, I felt heavy and tired. The course offers a variety of yoga classes which you can choose from depending on what you feel you need. In the beginning, I worked more for strength but towards the end, I really enjoyed the more relaxing classes and loved how the poses were explained with their spiritual benefits for the energetic body and towards birth.

Although in the end, I had a C-Section I feel that the breathing techniques and tools helped me through birth and postpartum and I would warmly recommend this course, especially to first-time moms!

Any Questions? I am here!

Can I still safely join the program, if I have never practiced yoga before?
(You should consult your healthcare provider before attempting any kind of physical activity during your pregnancy.)

Yes, you can!
In fact, many of my clients for prenatal yoga courses have never practiced yoga before. This program is also designed and safe for the second and third trimesters if you have never practiced yoga.
Suppose you are still in your first trimester. In that case, you should be aware that it is generally not advised to start any physical activity you have not been used to before pregnancy during the first weeks of pregnancy, including yoga.

I have a high-risk pregnancy, is it safe for me to do yoga?
You should first contact your healthcare provider. In many cases like gestational diabetes or a higher risk for preeclampsia the risk for the pregnancy itself has nothing to do with physical activity. In other cases like Cervical insufficiency, for example, Physical activity would pose a huge risk.
If you are not sure of your condition, it is best and most advisable to discuss your specific case with your doctor.

Which week is best to start and how long should I keep doing Yoga?
As I mentioned above, this program is for the second and third trimesters. so anywhere after week 15 is perfect to start. The earlier the better, if you want to strengthen your body and prevent physical discomfort like back pain. for example.
Preparing mentally and physically for birth takes time!

Can prenatal yoga cure my back pain?
It will most probably eliminate a huge deal of it. A lot of yoga poses are designed to relieve the spine from the constant pressure and growing weight.
I have a lot of clients who feel much better even with only one yoga class a week!

Will yoga cure my pelvic girdle pain or make it worse?
Your body releases relaxin to soften the ligaments towards birth. Sometimes this leads to instability in the hips and legs, and that is what makes you feel pain. There may be poses that are uncomfortable for you, but there are certainly lots of poses that will help strengthen your hips and core to prevent the pain from the beginning or make it more bearable.

Does yoga help me to have an easier birth?
Prenatal yoga strengthens both physically and mentally. It helps you to a better mind-body connection and a deeper understanding of yourself, which is helpful in birth, where you have to trust your body and let your intuition guide you.
According to studies, women who practiced yoga frequently had shorter durations of labor and more positive birth experiences than those who did not practice yoga.

Can yoga relieve my anxiety and fear from birth?
Certainly, yes! Yoga is proven to be very beneficial to people with anxiety and stress symptoms in general, and especially during pregnancy.
Different yoga poses may quiet your mind, and breath exercises and relaxation techniques help you manage your feelings and fears.
In addition, this program offers a lot of birth information, to lessen the feeling of birth being unknown and frightening to you!

Does the course give me actual tools to use at birth?
Yes, the course will provide you with helpful tools for birth.

How often should I practice yoga?
At best 3-4 times a week. And if you are tight on schedule, moving for 10-15 minutes is always better than passing on your class altogether.
You should take at least one full class a week though.

Will yoga make me strong?
Yoga works on all the muscles in your body. And although yoga is gentle, especially in pregnancy, you will gain strength if you practice frequently.
There are 2 classes for strength, one focusing on legs, hips, and back, and one focusing on shoulders and arms. So if you want to gain strength you could practice with those two videos frequently.
